In the summer of 1955, the mother ship dropped me off in East Los Angeles, California, where two unsuspecting humans foolishly raised me as one of their own. After escaping the drudgery of high school, I enlisted in the US Navy before my human owners discovered I was missing.

I served in the military for eight years and after my tour of duty, and before I came to my senses, I earned a bachelor’s degree while attending a business college in Jacksonville, Florida. That yellowed sheepskin, I might add, now covers a hole in my dining room wall.

My life experience varies from a life of high adventure to the mundane life of an average housewife who added two male offspring to the world's population. After shedding my first husband I moved to Oregon to watch over my aged parents and after my duty to them ended. I remarried and settled in the wilds of Southern Oregon.

Though, I have nothing to complain about, for the man who was crazy enough to marry me treats me well. Thus, with his love and support, I was able to block out the world so I could write in peace.
